February 2018 Town Hall Meeting

Sewer Project Update –Sudlersville is in the process of getting an interim loan from a bank. The plans and specs are being rewritten due to the changes to the original plans, and once they have been rewritten they must be approved by MDE and USDA. Then there are several permits that are needed. It will still be a while before we see a shovel in the ground here in Barclay.

New Town Meeting Hall – The transfer of the Marvin Memorial Church to the Town is complete. There is still work to be done (such as adding bathrooms), but glad to officially have the building as our official Town Meeting Hall. Thanks to the Trustees of the Marvin Memorial United Methodist Church for the donation.

The next Town Meeting will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018,, 7:00 p.m. at Marvin Memorial Church, 101 Church Lane, Barclay, MD 21607

All Commission meetings are conducted in Open Session unless otherwise indicated. All or part of the meeting may be closed to the public in accordance with Maryland Open Meetings Act procedures.
